Diana Cage
I am a writer and scholar focused on ways that AI and digital media shape human experiences.
My academic work blends feminist science and technology studies, game studies, and interface studies to bring a socially-informed perspective to digital culture and technology. I’m passionate about translating complex systems into clear, accessible narratives that reveal the deeper power dynamics at play.
My research explores the emotional dimensions of algorithims, human-AI interaction, video games, and other digital tools that shape our lived experiences.
I write about insurgent art and feminist technoscience practices that disrupt dominant institutional logics and expose the affective infrastructures of technology. I’m particularly interested in how we design, touch, and survive machines.
Before academia, I built a career as a media professional, writing books on sex and relationships, leading editorial teams at three national magazines and hosting The Diana Cage Show on SiriusXM. This experience in public discourse and cultural critique continues to inform my work.
